Biography
Keak da Sneak, a pioneering figure in the hyphy movement, first gained recognition as part of the '90s hardcore rap trio 3X Krazy from Oakland. Born Charles Kente Williams in Alabama, he began his rap career in California with Agerman, forming the duo Dual Committee in 1992 before evolving into 3X Krazy with the addition of rapper B.A. Keak's solo career took off with his early albums released by Moe Doe Records, followed by a successful partnership with Black Market Records for his Retaliation album. He continued to release new music consistently, culminating in his sixth album Cheddar Cheese I Say in 2012 and the collaborative project Withdrawl in 2017, featuring a lineup of notable guest artists.
