Biography

K-Paz de la Sierra, a Duranguense music group, emerged in 2003 with their hit single "Con Olor a Hierba" followed by "Jambalaya". Their debut album, Arrasando con Fuego, sold over 32,000 copies in its first week, signing with Univision for further success. The group released six albums, with three reaching the top of regional charts in Mexico and making appearances on the Billboard Top 2006.

Tragedy struck in December 2007 when lead singer Sergio Gómez was murdered after a concert in Michoacán. His wife, Felicitas Gomez, took over leadership of the group from then on.
