Biography

Keith Morgan, born on 23 September 1969 in Kingston, Jamaica, followed in the musical footsteps of his late brother, DJ Jim Kelly, after recording his debut track "Over Her Body" in 1985. Despite facing initial challenges in the Jamaican music industry, Morgan, also known as Junior Kelly, eventually found success with his second release, "Give Them A Bly," in 1993. Inspired by the conscientious approach of the Marley brothers and the Ghetto Youths Crew, he continues to make music that reflects his musical legacy and influences.

Educated at St. Catherine High School, Morgan's journey in the music industry began with the support of his brother, Jim Kelly, who introduced him to the studio scene. Following his brother's passing, Morgan adopted the stage name Junior Kelly as a tribute and went on to audition for top producers in Jamaica. Despite initial setbacks, his perseverance and dedication to his craft eventually led to the release of his music, showcasing his unique blend of dancehall and reggae influences.
