Biography
Junior Boys, a Hamilton, Ontario-based electronic pop group initially formed as a duo with Jeremy Greenspan and Johnny Dark, evolved their sound by drawing inspiration from diverse music genres. After Dark's departure, Greenspan and engineer Matt Didemus collaborated to produce their debut full-length album under the KIN label established by Nick Kilroy. Over the following decade, the duo expanded their discography gradually, showcasing their growth as songwriters and producers.
On October 28, 2022, Junior Boys will release their sixth album, 'Waiting Game', via City Slang, marking a return after six years since their last release. Departing from their previous R&B-infused dance style, 'Waiting Game' explores a more tender and contemplative approach, as evident in the first single 'Night Walk' released ahead of the album drop.
