Josey, a talented R&B artist hailing from Abidjan, Ivory Coast, draws inspiration from a diverse range of musical genres, blending soul, folk, Afro-zouk, and Congolese rumba influences in her music. Following a successful stint on a TV talent show, she has released hit collaborations like "Chéri[e] Tu Me Saoules" and solo singles such as "On Fait Rien avec Ça" and "Nagniouma." In 2018, she took on a new role as a judge on The Voice Afrique Francophone.

Beginning her musical journey singing in church and later joining a rap group in high school, Josey, formerly known as Josée, gained recognition in 2012 as a runner-up on the TV competition Castel Live Opera. Her breakout moment came with the cover of Delta Groupe's "Sapiou," leading to features on popular tracks like "J'veux M'en Aller" and "Chéri(e) Tu Me Saoules."
