Biography

Joseph Williams, known for his work as a vocalist for Toto and as a film composer, began his career as a commercial singer before transitioning to television and film music in the late 90s. He rejoined Toto in 2010 as the front man and lead vocalist, and has released ten solo albums, earning an Emmy Award nomination for his film composing work. Williams' voice has left a lasting impact on pop culture, notably as the adult Simba in The Lion King. His 11th solo album, 'Denizen Tenant', is scheduled for release on February 26th, 2021 via The Players Club / Mascot Label Group, coinciding with Toto band mate Steve Lukather's solo album, 'I Found The Sun Again', featuring collaborations between the two artists.
