Biography

J. Holiday, born Nahum Grymes, is a Washington, D.C.-based R&B vocalist who signed with Capitol Records and released the single "Be with Me" in 2006, produced by Rodney "Darkchild" Jerkins. His debut album, Back of My Lac', was released in October 2007 and achieved success with hit singles like "Bed" and "Suffocate," co-written by the-Dream. Capitol re-released the album in February 2007 with additional tracks and videos. Holiday's second album, Round 2, was released in March 2009, featuring collaborations with a new set of songwriters and producers.
