Inspector is a Mexican Ska band known for their 28-year career since their formation in 1995 in San Nicolás de los Garza Nuevo León by Jesús "Padrino" Arriaga, saxophonist and composer. With Homero Ontiveros on keyboard and Javier Sánchez "Big Javy" on vocals, Inspector has developed a unique style characterized by intense lyrics on love and struggles, resulting in their distinctive sound. Their debut album "Blanco y Negro" was a significant milestone in the Mexican Ska Two Tone movement, followed by their second album "Alma en Fuego," which achieved Platinum status due to high sales.
In recent years, Inspector has continued to engage fans with significant milestones in their artistic career. In 2020, they celebrated their 25th anniversary with a special online event. The band embarked on a successful tour in 2022 across Mexico to commemorate the 20th anniversary of their iconic album "Alma en Fuego," culminating in a performance at the prestigious Auditorio Nacional on February 24, 2023. Currently, Inspector is gearing up for the release of their upcoming album "Serpientes y Escaleras," featuring singles like ΓÇ£Soy Soledad,ΓÇ¥ ΓÇ£Otra Vez,ΓÇ¥ and ΓÇ£Aunque No Sea ConmigoΓÇ¥ released between 2022-2023.
