Heize, born Jang Da-hye in Daegu, South Korea, is a singer/songwriter known for her blend of R&B, soul, and hip-hop. Making her debut in the 2010s, she gained recognition after appearing on the reality competition Unpretty Rapstar. Her music features mid-tempo production, comforting vocals, and occasional rapping, leading to chart success in both Korea and the U.S.
With a series of EP releases, Heize's breakthrough came with her appropriately titled third EP, III, which produced Korean number one singles. Her 2019 full-length album, She's Fine, included a Top Ten title track and marked a significant milestone in her career. Closing out the year with her fifth EP, Late Autumn, Heize continues to solidify her presence in the music industry.
