Fontaines D.C. released their fourth album, ROMANCE, on August 23 through XL Recordings, marking their first collaboration with producer James Ford. The album, featuring 11 tracks, showcases the band's growth and experimentation, reflecting ideas that have evolved since their previous release, Skinty Fia in 2022.
During tours with Arctic Monkeys in the U.S. and Mexico, Fontaines D.C. members, Grian Chatten, Carlos OΓÇÖConnell, Conor Curley, Conor Deegan, and Tom Coll, explored new musical directions and individual creative pursuits. Following this period of exploration and personal growth, the band reunited to write and record ROMANCE, drawing inspiration from their diverse experiences and pushing the boundaries of their sound.
