Flume, the alias of Australian electronic musician and producer Harley Edward Streten, creates atmospheric dance music influenced by house and U.K. garage. Beginning his music production journey in his early teens, Streten gained recognition after winning a competition held by Future Classic. He released his debut self-titled album in 2012, featuring collaborations with artists like Chet Faker and Jezzabell Doran. The album achieved commercial success in Australia and the U.S., leading to a Grammy win for his 2016 sophomore effort, Skin, which featured collaborations with artists such as AlunaGeorge and Beck.
Following the success of Skin, Flume released the Skin Companion I and Skin Companion II EPs in 2016, showcasing collaborations with Isabella Manfredi and Pusha T. His work has garnered critical acclaim and numerous awards, including ARIA Awards and a Grammy for Best Dance/Electronic Album.
