Carlos Fidel Rueda, born on March 23, 1983, in Culiacan, Sinaloa, developed a passion for music from a young age, inspired by his father's accordion. He honed his skills on the instrument and began singing, eventually forming the group Los Buitres de Culiacan to perform at local events. The band released successful albums such as Que Role la Bolsita and Solo Para Mi before Rueda decided to pursue a solo career in 2006 due to creative differences with the record label.

Rueda's solo debut album, Paz en Este Amor, released in 2007 under Universal's Machete Music, showcased an experimental sound featuring drums, horns, and accordion.
