Biography

Emir Can İğrek is a Turkish alternative-pop music artist born in Tekirdağ. He left Yıldız Technical University in his final year to pursue singing and solfege education at Nazım Hikmet Academy, where he sang as a tenor in the choir for 4 years. In 2018, he released his debut album "Ağır Roman" and was awarded the "Powerturk Most Powerful Breakthrough Musician" in 2019. Throughout his career, he has collaborated with various artists including Patron, Zeynep Bastık, Sehabe, and Deeperise. In 2021, he achieved the title of the most-streamed male pop artist of all time on Spotify. His second studio album "Parti İptal," released in 2023, has garnered over 200 million streams.
