DBangz, born Darius Lewis in Phoenix, Arizona, emerged as a standout artist with his viral hit "Thick Niggas and Anime Tiddies" in 2017. Inspired by rap icons like MF Doom and Earl Sweatshirt, he started recording music at 14 in his garage, crafting a unique style blending lewd lyrics, hip-hop samples, and cartoon themes. Following projects like Summer Booty Sweat and Winter Booty Icicles, DBangz showcased his evolution with the 2018 release Konohagakure and hit single Last Claim, establishing himself as a rising rapper. His versatility and desire for seriousness shone in the 2019 EP Keahonui, paving the way for his successful 2020 EP Been a Long Time and continued growth in the music industry.
