Berlin-based producer Tim Eliot, known as Current Value, has been a pioneering force in drum'n'bass since the late 1990s. With over a dozen albums and a vast discography under various monikers, he is recognized for his dark, experimental drum'n'bass characterized by precise beats and abstract arrangements. Eliot's classical piano background and early foray into electronic music production laid the foundation for his distinctive sound, which evolved from steely drum'n'bass to incorporate melodic elements, culminating in a focus on neurofunk.

In addition to his solo work as Current Value, Eliot collaborated with Dean Rodell in the versatile duo Machine Code and was part of the genre-blending supergroup Underhill. These projects explored a range of styles including dubstep, industrial, techno, and more. Eliot's discography boasts numerous singles, EPs, and albums across various labels, showcasing his relentless creativity and evolution as an artist. With a string of acclaimed releases in recent years, including the neurofunk-infused Biocellulose and the diverse Deadly Toys, Current Value continues to push boundaries within the drum'n'bass genre.
