Berlin-based producer Tim Eliot, known as Current Value, has been a pioneering force in drum'n'bass since the late 1990s. With over a dozen albums and a vast discography under various monikers, he is recognized for his dark, experimental drum'n'bass characterized by precise beats and abstract arrangements. Eliot's classical piano background and early foray into electronic music production laid the foundation for his distinctive sound, which evolved from steely drum'n'bass to incorporate melodic elements, culminating in a focus on neurofunk.

In addition to his solo work as Current Value, Eliot collaborated with Dean Rodell in the versatile duo Machine Code and was part of the genre-blending supergroup Underhill.
