Biography

Crunk Incorporated, an Atlanta-based label/management team, propelled Lil Scrappy up the charts before turning their attention to the six-member Crime Mob for their next big hit. The rowdy party crunk group, consisting of rappers Diamond, Killa C, Cyco Blac, Princess, Jock aka M.I.G., and Lil Jay, gained quick popularity with their single "Knuck If You Buck" in the summer of 2004. Their self-titled debut album reached number five on Billboard's R&B/Hip-Hop Albums chart in August of the same year. Crime Mob returned in late 2006 with the successful single "Rock Yo Hips," which reached the Top 10 R&B/Hip-Hop and the Top 40 of the Hot 100, setting the stage for their second album, Hated on Mostly, released the following year amidst interpersonal turmoil. Despite a period of silence, all members except Princess reunited in Atlanta five years later.
