Conjunto Atardecer

Formed in Santa Maria del Oro, Durango, in September 2000, Conjunto Atardecer quickly gained regional popularity with their debut album Con Todo el Corazon. The addition of two more musicians helped elevate the group to a professional level, leading to a record deal with Benara Corporation in 2002 and subsequent success with hit albums like Mi Eterno Amor Secreto and Los Número Uno del Pasito Duranguense. Tragedy struck in 2009 when drummer Rob Villa was murdered, inspiring the band's tribute song "El Compa Beto" on their album Contigo Para Siempre.

Conjunto Atardecer's journey from local party performers to chart-topping duranguense favorites was marked by their rapid rise in the music scene. With successful albums like Cantan Corridos and El Decimo, the band established themselves as front-runners in the genre, touring extensively in the U.S. and gaining recognition for their energetic live performances. Despite the loss of Villa in 2009, Conjunto Atardecer's music continued to resonate with fans, showcasing their enduring impact on the regional music landscape.
