Conjunto Agua Azul

Formed in the mid-1970s by bandleader Mario González, El Conjunto Agua Azul gained fame during the post-millennial Regional Mexican music surge. Originating from San Luis Potosi, the group initially played local events before adding frontman Francisco Laureano in 1980, later succeeded by his son, Faustino "Tino" Laureano after Francisco's passing. With a prolific recording career starting in the late 1990s, their breakout hit "El Diccionario" from the album Qué Chulos Ojos entered the Top 40 on the Billboard charts, solidifying their success.
