COMMON MARKET is the collaborative project of emcee RA Scion and DJ/Producer Sabzi, who first connected in 2003 and released their self-titled album in 2005, gaining recognition from hiphop icon KRS-ONE. The duo's music led to the formation of MassLine Media with emcees Geologic and Gabriel Teodros in 2006.

In the following years, Common Market released critically acclaimed projects like the 'Black Patch War' EP in 2008 and 'Tobacco Road' in 2009, culminating in the digital-only release 'The Winter's End' in 2009. After a decade-long hiatus, the group returned with the 2019 release 'Triple Crown,' setting the stage for their upcoming full-length album 'Pegasus Parade' in 2020.
