Biography

From performing in his teens in Atlanta to signing with Hollywood Records in his late twenties, Cody ChesnuTT's music career had its highs and lows. After releasing his double-disc debut, The Headphone Masterpiece, in 2002, ChesnuTT collaborated with the Roots on "The Seed (2.0)" before taking a hiatus to focus on family. In 2012, he returned with Landing on a Hundred, drawing inspiration from Marvin Gaye's sound and continuing to balance touring with family time.

Following the release of Landing on a Hundred, ChesnuTT took breaks to be with his family before returning in 2017 with My Love Divine Degree, showcasing a dynamic approach to contemporary R&B. The album featured the single "Image of Love," highlighting his evolution as an artist.
