Cleopatra, a teen trio from Manchester, England, comprised of the Higgins sisters Zainam, Yonah, and Cleopatra, blended influences from gospel to trip-hop to classic soul in their music. After winning a local talent contest, they signed with Warner Bros. Records in 1997, releasing hit singles like "Cleopatra's Theme" and "Life Ain't Easy" from their debut album Comin' Atcha! Their success led to a U.S. deal with Madonna's Maverick label, where they achieved chart success with singles like "Cleopatra's Theme" and "Life Ain't Easy."

Alongside their mother and youngest sister Terry, Cleopatra starred in a successful comedy/variety show on British television. Their second album, Steppin' Out, was released in August 2000, showcasing their diverse musical influences and energetic performances. Despite their brief time in the mainstream spotlight, Cleopatra left a mark with their infectious pop sound and vibrant stage presence.
