Chuck Loeb

Chuck Loeb was a versatile guitarist known for his crossover jazz style. He began his music career at a young age, studying with notable jazz musicians and attending Berklee College of Music. Throughout his career, Loeb released numerous albums and collaborated with various artists, showcasing his talent and versatility in the jazz genre. He passed away in 2017 at the age of 61 after battling cancer.

Chuck Loeb's musical journey included stints with renowned artists like Stan Getz and Steps Ahead, as well as successful solo endeavors on labels such as DMP and Shanachie. In 2010, he joined Fourplay as their guitarist, while also continuing his work as a producer, composer, and arranger. Loeb's legacy lives on through his extensive discography and collaborations with prominent musicians in the jazz world, leaving a lasting impact on the genre.
