Biography
The London-based band Cheatahs formed when Nathan Hewitt (vox, guitar) and James Wignall (guitar, vox) met in a pub in Camden, London, bonding over Seinfeld and hardcore punk. They later invited Marc Raue and Dean Reid to join them on drums and bass. Cheatahs gained acclaim with their self-titled debut album and dynamic live performances, showcasing their innovative guitar-driven sound. Their sophomore LP, "Mythologies," explores new sonic territories, blending motorik rhythms, garage, and ambient punk. In 2016, Cheatahs went on hiatus, leading Nathan Hewitt to release a solo album titled "Would You Be There For Me?" under the name Hypnotic Kingdom, featuring Dean Reid and Marc Raue.
