Born Ahmed Chawki in Tétouan, Morocco, on May 31, 1982, the artist, also known as Chawki, began his music journey early on, winning the Arab Music Festival in 2000 and forming the band La Paloma, blending Flamenco with Arab and Moroccan influences. Collaborating with renowned producer RedOne, Chawki gained international recognition with hits like "Habibi I Love You" featuring Pitbull and "Magic in the Air" with Magic System for the 2014 World Cup. His solo career took off in 2012, leading to successful singles like "Come Alive" and "Tsunami," earning nominations at the Africa Music Video Awards.

In 2020, Chawki released "Together We Rise" and "Jawbni Lillah," followed by the 2021 single "Ramadan Tajalla" featuring Yussef Zain. With a background in classical and Western music theory, Chawki has established himself as a versatile artist, blending diverse musical styles and collaborating with notable figures in the industry to create chart-topping hits that resonate across the Middle East, Europe, and Africa.
