Mike Lauri and John Alicastro, the duo known as CFO$, originally began creating music together in high school on Long Island. Unable to find bandmates, they became multi-instrumentalists and honed their skills in recording-studio technology to produce their own music, initially operating under the name Kromestatik. Their debut track, "The Night," was featured as the theme song for WWE Raw 1000, and they have since crafted themes for WWE superstars like Kane, Sasha Banks, and Seth Rollins, achieving success with chart-topping hits like "The Rising Sun" for Shinsuke Nakamura and "Glorious Domination" for Bobby Roode. Additionally, their music has been embraced beyond wrestling, with their track "Combative (Oney Lorcan)" becoming the goal song for the NHL's Washington Capitals from 2017 to 2019, and a remix of their song "Sky's the Limit" for Sasha Banks featuring Snoop Dogg in 2020.

Apart from their extensive wrestling music catalog, CFO$ has collaborated with a diverse range of artists, including Goo Goo Dolls, Scott Stapp, and O.A.R., showcasing their versatility and talent in the music industry beyond the realm of sports entertainment.
