Cedric Burnside recorded his album Hill Country Love in a former legal office in Ripley, Mississippi, the birthplace of Hill Country Blues. In just two days, producer Luther Dickinson helped Burnside record fourteen songs, showcasing a more direct and upfront approach compared to his previous Grammy-nominated releases.
