Brodie Jenkins and Johnny Hwin, both with unique musical backgrounds, came together in San Francisco in 2012 through a mutual friend at The SUB artist collective. Brodie, a folk-rooted singer with a soulful voice, and Johnny, an electronic producer influenced by his Vietnamese heritage, found a natural creative connection. Their collaboration as Cathedrals blends elements of Swedish pop, nineties trip-hop, indie dreamwave, and dark trap, resulting in a distinct and compelling sound that showcases their diverse influences and talents.
