Biography

Cappadonna, a member of the Wu-Tang Clan since 1995, made his recorded debut on Raekwon's Only Built 4 Cuban Linx album. He played a significant role on Ghostface Killah's Ironman in 1996 and continued to rap on Wu-Tang Clan's second album, Wu-Tang Forever, in 1997. Cappadonna's solo debut, The Pillage, produced by RZA, was released in March 1998 and was a chart success. His subsequent albums, including The Yin and the Yang in 2001 and The Struggle in 2003, showcased his autobiographical storytelling. In 2013, his double-disc album, Eyrth, Wynd & Fyre/Love Anger & Emotion, introduced his protégés, Lounge Mode and Sav Killz.

Cappadonna, a late addition to the Wu-Tang Clan, had known the members since childhood in Staten Island and began writing and performing lyrics at the age of 15. After his official debut in 1995, he became a frequent collaborator on Wu-Tang Clan records, including Ghostface Killah's Ironman and the group's second album, Wu-Tang Forever. His solo career took off with the release of The Pillage in 1998, followed by successful albums like The Yin and the Yang in 2001 and The Struggle in 2003. In 2013, Cappadonna released a double-disc album, Eyrth, Wynd & Fyre/Love Anger & Emotion, showcasing his evolving artistry and introducing new talent to his audience.
