Biography

Emerging in 2003 with a brutalist take on metalcore, Boston's Bury Your Dead evolved their sound through lineup changes, adding big choruses with It's Nothing Personal in 2009 before returning to hardcore roots on Mosh 'N Roll in 2011. After a studio hiatus, they released the EP We Are Bury Your Dead in 2019.

Originally a side project formed in 2001 by members of metalcore band Hamartia, Bury Your Dead transitioned to focus on hardcore, gaining attention in East Coast scenes. Reuniting after a brief split, they signed with Victory Records in 2004 and released albums like Cover Your Tracks and Beauty and the Breakdown. Following lineup shifts, the band released Mosh 'N Roll in 2011 and returned in 2019 with the EP We Are Bury Your Dead under Stay Sick Recordings.
