Breathe

British pop group Breathe, formed in London in 1984, gained recognition for their polished, easygoing music with R&B influences. Their debut album, "All That Jazz," produced hits like "Hands to Heaven" and "How Can I Fall," which charted well in both the U.K. and the U.S. After lineup changes and touring, the band released their second album, "Peace of Mind," in 1990, but failed to match the success of their debut. Following their disbandment in 1992, members pursued different ventures, with lead singer David Glasper embarking on a solo career, Marcus Lillington delving into web design and music with a new band, and drummer Ian "Spike" Spice passing away in 2000.

Breathe's brief but impactful career highlighted their knack for crafting melodic pop tunes infused with soulful rhythms. Despite their short-lived run, the band left a lasting legacy with their chart-topping hits and distinctive sound, earning them a place in the annals of British pop music history.
