Biography

BoySetsFire, a progressive hardcore band formed in Delaware in 1994, quickly gained acclaim for their intense live performances and strong political convictions. After releasing several albums and EPs with Victory Records and Wind-Up, the band signed with Equal Vision in 2005 and released Before the Eulogy and Misery Index: Notes from the Plague Years. Unfortunately, BoySetsFire announced their breakup in July 2006, but reunited in 2010 and continued to release music, including their self-titled album in 2015.

BoySetsFire's journey has been marked by label changes, lineup adjustments, and a steadfast commitment to their political beliefs. Despite facing challenges such as the departure of members and a temporary breakup, the band persevered, ultimately reuniting and releasing new music.
