Boy Harsher, comprised of Jae Matthews and Augustus Muller, craft dark, danceable electro-pop featuring minimal beats and sensual vocals. Since forming in 2014, the duo has amassed a devoted cult following, known for hits like "Pain" and albums like 2019's Careful. With roots in film, Matthews and Muller transitioned from their Teen Dreamz project to Boy Harsher, releasing their debut EP, Lesser Man, followed by full-length Yr Body Is Nothing in 2016.

Based in Savannah and later Northampton, Boy Harsher continued to evolve their sound, launching their Nude Club imprint in 2018 and exploring themes of personal loss and mental illness on Careful. In 2022, they released a short film titled The Runner, further showcasing their multi-disciplinary approach to artistry.
