Biography

At just 13 years old, Bow Wow made his rap debut with the double-platinum album Beware of Dog (2000), which was a commercial success. Despite facing challenges in replicating that level of success in subsequent years, he continued to evolve as an artist and released several albums with varying degrees of commercial reception. Alongside his music career, Bow Wow also ventured into acting, appearing in films like Like Mike (2002) and The Fast and the Furious: Tokyo Drift (2006).

Born Shad Gregory Moss on March 9, 1987, in Columbus, OH, Bow Wow initially gained recognition as Lil Bow Wow under the mentorship of Jermaine Dupri and the So So Def label. His debut single "Bounce with Me" and album Beware of Dog were major hits, setting the stage for his subsequent success in the music industry. Despite some commercial ups and downs, Bow Wow continued to release albums and singles that achieved chart success, collaborating with various artists and producers along the way.
