Biography
Blue Swede achieved success in the 1970s with cover singles, including their chart-topping rendition of "Hooked on a Feeling" originally by B.J. Thomas. Their version also reached number one in several countries and gained renewed popularity through TV shows and movies. The band also had Top Ten hits with covers of "Never My Love" by the Association and a medley of "I'm Alive" and "Hush" originally by the Hollies and Deep Purple, respectively. Blue Swede disbanded in 1975 after lead vocalist Björn Skifs left to pursue a solo career.
