Blue States

In 1997, Andy Dragazis formed Blue States with friends, leading to a series of singles released by Memphis Industries between 1998 and 1999. Their debut LP, "Nothing Changes Under the Sun," came out in 2000 and was later licensed by Thievery Corporation for the U.S. market. Dragazis has also worked on remixes for artists like Hefner and Badly Drawn Boy. The band's sound evolved over the years, with albums like "The Soundings" in 2004 and "First Steps Into..." in 2007 showcasing a mix of electronic and traditional elements. Their 2016 release, "Restless Spheres," continued this trend, collaborating with guest artists for a more expansive sound.
