Blondfire

Blondfire, consisting of siblings Erica and Bruce Driscoll, began as Astaire before changing their name to avoid legal issues. Their dreamy electronic pop sound was reminiscent of The Cardigans and Metric. After a brief stint with EMI, they released their debut album, My Someday, independently in 2008 under their own label, Tender Tender Rush. In 2012, they signed with Warner and gained Billboard chart success with their EP Where the Kids Are, leading to the release of their second album, Young Heart, in 2014. Bruce later left the band to pursue his own project, Freedom Fry, while Erica continued as a solo artist under the Blondfire name, releasing the EP True Confessions in 2016.
