Blind Faith, a rock "supergroup" formed by members of Cream and Traffic, quickly rose to fame in 1969 with a hit album and international tour, but internal conflicts led to their disbandment after less than a year. Despite the success of singles like "Presence of the Lord," the band faced criticism for their controversial album cover featuring a topless schoolgirl. After the tour, the members pursued separate musical endeavors, with Eric Clapton joining Derek & the Dominos and Steve Winwood re-forming Traffic.
