Bizarre Inc., a British acid-house group, was formed by DJs Andrew Meecham, Dean Meredith, and Carl Turner, with Mark Archer of Altern 8 as a founding member. Vocalists Angie Brown and Yvonne Yanni later joined the lineup. Their 1991 debut single "Playing with Knives" was a massive club hit, followed by tracks like "X-Static" and "Plutonic" leading up to their 1992 debut album Energique. Despite a brief hiatus, the group returned in the late '90s with releases like Surprise and the single "Playing with Knives."
