Big Bang

Big Bang, the solo project of Italian producer Simone Serritella also known from jazz-house duo Cuica, blended Latin jazz rhythms with soulful vocals and bright keyboard melodies. His music, often categorized as "broken beat" or "nu-jazz," first appeared in 2000 with his debut single "Dribbling"/"Colours" on Far Out Recordings. Serritella later founded Arision in 2001, releasing his debut album Arriving Soon in 2002, followed by the remix collection Rework Project in 2004 and the second album Way in Jazz in 2006. Despite a hiatus in new releases, Big Bang's legacy remains influential in the music scene.
