Biography

Beret, born Francisco Javier Álvarez Beret in 1996 in Seville, has been interested in music since a young age. He discovered rap and reggae early on, experimenting with various genres and sharing his homemade recordings on YouTube. His style blends urban pop and reggae, focusing on creating music from the heart without conforming to specific labels.

Beret gained widespread acclaim with his hit single "Lo Siento," which achieved five times Platinum certification in Spain and topped the country's radio charts. The song also found success in Latin America with a duet version featuring Mexican singer Sofia Reyes. He won Best Song of the Year at the 2019 Los 40 Music Awards and was named Best Artist of the Year at the 2020 Premios Odeón. In October 2019, Beret released his highly anticipated studio album, "Prisma," featuring collaborations with artists like Pablo Alborán, Melendi, and Sebastián Yatra. The album reached the second spot on the physical albums chart and spent 8 weeks at #1 on the streaming albums chart, earning Gold certification.
