Biography
Bear in Heaven originated in 1998 as a solo project by Jon Philpot in Atlanta, evolving into a Brooklyn-based band with various members over the years. Their debut album, Red Bloom of the Boom, was released in 2007, drawing comparisons to Radiohead and Animal Collective. The band's second album, Beast Rest Forth Mouth, released in 2009, garnered positive reviews and extensive touring. Subsequent albums, including I Love You, It's Cool in 2012 and Time Is Over One Day Old in 2014, showcased the band's evolution and experimentation with sound.
