Basia

Polish vocalist Basia Trzetrzelewska began her music career in the pop band Matt Bianco before embarking on a successful solo career in 1987 with her debut album Time and Tide. Her subsequent albums, London Warsaw New York and Clear Horizon: The Best of Basia, achieved commercial success before a temporary hiatus due to personal losses. In 2009, Basia returned to music with the release of It's That Girl Again and continued to thrive with subsequent albums and live recordings, including From Newport to London: Greatest Hits Live... and More and Butterflies in 2018.

After a period of reflection, Basia reunited with her former bandmates from Matt Bianco to release new music and returned to her solo career with a renewed focus and dedication. Her albums have consistently garnered success, with It's That Girl Again reaching the Top Ten on the U.S. jazz charts and Butterflies further solidifying her position in the music industry. Basia's ability to blend jazz-pop elements with her distinctive vocals has cemented her status as a respected artist with a loyal fan base.
