Barnaba Boy Classic, born Elias Barnabas in Moshi, Tanzania in the early 90s, began his musical journey at age 8, influenced by his parents' musical background. Growing up in a Chaga family of musicians and church members, Barnaba's early performances in churches and on the streets shaped his passion for music and songwriting. His talent caught the attention of friends and fellow artists, leading to collaborations with renowned musicians in Tanzania and East Africa.

Known for his prolific songwriting, Barnaba has penned hits like "Hawajui" by Vanessa Mdee and "Lonely" by Linah, showcasing his lyrical prowess and ability to craft memorable melodies. His collaborations with artists such as Fally Ipupa and Shilole have solidified his place as a prominent figure in the East African music scene.
