Biography

Formed in Massachusetts in the mid-1990s, Bane evolved from a side project involving Aaron Dalbec and members of Converge. The addition of vocalist Aaron Bedard and bassist Pete Chilton led to the release of several 7" singles before signing with Equal Vision Records in 1999 for their debut full-length album, "It All Comes Down to This." Bane toured extensively with bands like Saves the Day, Death by Stereo, Good Riddance, and Strike Anywhere, before releasing subsequent albums such as "Give Blood" in 2001 and "The Note" in 2005. After a series of EPs, Bane returned with "Don't Wait Up" in 2014, marking their latest release on Equal Vision.

Throughout their career, Bane has maintained a strong presence in the hardcore punk scene, touring both nationally and internationally, including performances at notable festivals like Furnace Fest.
