BandGang, a Detroit rap collective formed in 2008, consists of six emcees: Paid Will, Masoe, Lonnie Bands, AJ, Javar, and Biggs. Initially independent, they self-released a series of mixtapes in 2014, such as White Buff Boyz and Grind Season 2, followed by projects like Young Kings and WDW in the subsequent years. The group's members have since pursued solo endeavors, with collaborations including the 2016 single "Straight to It" with Tee Grizzley and the 2017 EP The Appetizer with Trauma Tone, leading up to the expansive 30-track album In Too Deep released in 2018.
