Atlas Sound

Bradford Cox, known for his work as the vocalist of experimental indie rock band Deerhunter, also leads the solo project Atlas Sound. Born in Athens, Georgia in 1982, Cox drew inspiration from the local music scene and artists like the B-52's. After Deerhunter's hiatus in 2007, Cox focused on Atlas Sound, blending influences from doo-wop to electronica. His debut album, Let the Blind Lead Those Who Can See But Cannot Feel, was well-received in 2008, prompting him to quickly work on a follow-up. Despite a leak of the unfinished second album, Cox persevered and released Logos in 2009. He continued his solo endeavors with the album Parallax in 2011.
