Atlantida Project

Atlantida Project, formed in 2007 by Aleksandra Sokolova and Sergey Zyazin in Saint Petersburg, Russia, blends Sokolova's ethereal space-inspired lyrics with Zyazin's multi-instrumental compositions, resulting in a unique fusion of folk vocals, electronic elements, and guitar-driven soundscapes. While founding members Sokolova and Zyazin led the group, other musicians, like Kirill Solovjev and Michail Skurikhin, also contributed to the project over the years. The band collaborated with various artists, including Noize MC and Vasja V., showcasing their versatility and creativity in the music scene.

Tragically, Atlantida Project came to an end in September 2015 following the passing of Sasha Sokolova. Despite this loss, Sergey Zyazin continued to honor Sokolova's legacy by releasing the album "Bezdna" in 2016, featuring her vocals. Zyazin later embarked on a solo project called ProtoCaryotes in 2018, aiming to share his musical experiments and unreleased Atlantida Project tracks with audiences, further showcasing his dedication to the project's vision and sound.
