Biography

King Krule is the solo project of London-based artist Archy Marshall, named after a character in the Donkey Kong video game series. Marshall gained attention with his raw voice on the single "Out Getting Ribs" in 2010, released under the alias Zoo Kid. His debut album, 6 Feet Beneath the Moon, was released in 2013 to critical acclaim. Marshall later collaborated with his brother Jack on the more electronic project A New Place 2 Drown, which included a physical edition packaged with a book of poetry, photography, and art in 2015.
