Antonio Pappano

Antonio Pappano, best known as an opera conductor, ventured into orchestral music in the late '90s and has since been the music director of London's Royal Opera at Covent Garden since 2002. Born in Epping, Essex, U.K., on December 30, 1959, to Italian immigrant parents, Pappano began his musical journey at a young age, eventually becoming a renowned conductor with a prolific career spanning orchestral and opera performances.
