Antonio Carmona, a founding member of the innovative flamenco group Ketama, is renowned for his pioneering approach to blending traditional flamenco with genres like salsa, hip-hop, and jazz. With Ketama, known for their exceptional guitar skills and tight vocal harmonies, Carmona helped introduce Spanish music to global audiences. Hailing from a long line of musicians, Carmona is not only a guitarist and vocalist but also a highly regarded percussionist who incorporated the Peruvian cajon into flamenco music. After a successful career with Ketama, Carmona ventured into a solo career, releasing his debut album, Vengo Venenoso, in 2006, showcasing his diverse musical talents beyond the group setting.
